I was 12 years old. From that time I never left it. It began with <strong>three friends<\/strong>: <strong>Pierre Pichon<\/strong>, <strong>Jean-Baptiste (JB) Bouillon,<\/strong> <strong>Anthony Piscione<\/strong> and<strong> Yohan Cambourieu<\/strong>. Each had their own speciality: <strong>Cross-country<\/strong> (endurance), <strong>Dirt\/Downhill<\/strong> (Tricks and speed) and<strong> Trial<\/strong> (maniability). After lunchtime <strong>Yvon Regout<\/strong> (a physical education teacher) was training us to <strong>Trial Bike<\/strong>. I met Pierre at school bus stop.\u00a0 With Pierre who was three years older than me, we went really far with our bikes. When I was 13, we rode nearly <strong>62 miles each week-end<\/strong> without cell phone! To be quiet <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">my parents locked up my bike sometimes<\/span>! Two years after they offered me my first cell phone. With Yohan we was in the same class for 4 years. We liked to watch <a title=\"New world Disorder Movies\" href=\"http:\/\/www.nwdfilms.com\/visuals\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>New World Disorder<\/strong><\/a> movies and after we were<strong> riding with adrenalin<\/strong>. Tony met us one year after and he became my best friend<strong>. We get up to all sorts of mischief\u00a0 together!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/worldtourexperienceoutdoor.files.wordpress.com\/2012\/07\/cannondale-f500.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-742 fancy\" title=\"Cannondale-F500\" src=\"http:\/\/worldtourexperienceoutdoor.files.wordpress.com\/2012\/07\/cannondale-f500.jpg?w=300\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"224\" \/><\/a>It&#8217;s due them in particular that <strong>I became versatile on bike<\/strong>. I quickly got <strong>good results in France junior high school championships<\/strong>. So<strong> my parents help me to increase<\/strong> my level. They bought my first real bike in a selling on consignment: a <strong>Cannondale F500<\/strong>. It was nice. Its frame which had the same color that grany smith apple.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/worldtourexperienceoutdoor.files.wordpress.com\/2012\/07\/frame_lapierre_trail-ltx-2003.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-738 fancy\" title=\"Frame Lapierre Trail LTX 2003\" src=\"http:\/\/worldtourexperienceoutdoor.files.wordpress.com\/2012\/07\/frame_lapierre_trail-ltx-2003.jpg?w=300\" alt=\"Frame_Lapierre_Trail-Ltx-2003\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" \/><\/a>As my level was increasing month after month and I mounted the podium at every championship, the next year I decided to buy<strong> my first full suspensions<\/strong> mountain bike when I was 15. This time I bought it myself while mowing the law for 4 years&#8230; It was a <strong>Lapierre Trail LTX<\/strong> (2003 model).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: right;\">.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/worldtourexperienceoutdoor.files.wordpress.com\/2012\/07\/lapierre_wallride-in-mtb.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-737 alignright fancy\" title=\"Lapierre Wallride\" src=\"http:\/\/worldtourexperienceoutdoor.files.wordpress.com\/2012\/07\/lapierre_wallride-in-mtb.jpg?w=300\" alt=\"Lapierre_wallride-in-MTB\" width=\"300\" height=\"187\" \/><\/a>It was an awesome bike. It has opened the doors for me of <strong>All mountain and Freeride<\/strong> which will inspire me <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">to move faster, to jump hig<\/span><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">her and to ride stronger<\/span>. During 6 years I was riding this bike <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">I broke the frame four times<\/span>. Fortunatly, <strong>my father kn<\/strong><strong>ew someone who could weld aluminium!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Also during 6 years I made money and I sold my motorbike (an other great story). This was time to replace my bike. I was nearly 20.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: right;\">.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/worldtourexperienceoutdoor.files.wordpress.com\/2012\/07\/intense-tracer-vp1.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-961 fancy\" title=\"intense tracer VP\" src=\"http:\/\/worldtourexperienceoutdoor.files.wordpress.com\/2012\/07\/intense-tracer-vp1.jpg?w=300\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"168\" \/><\/a>I was falling love of a<strong> Intense Tracer VP blue frame<\/strong> in June 2009. It was<strong> limited to 50 blue editions in the world.<\/strong>\u00a0 So I broke open my piggybank in order to buy it. It&#8217;s a 6 inches rear travel. I put a <strong>FOX 36 fork<\/strong> (2005) that I recovered on my <a title=\"Atomlab-General-Issue_Wallride\" href=\"http:\/\/worldtourexperienceoutdoor.files.wordpress.com\/2012\/07\/atomlab_wall-ride.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Atomlab General Issue<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>I bought this one to Antony to increase in Street and Dirtjump. Wheels came from my Lapierre Trail LTX. I&#8217;ve sold many components to buy other more recents.<\/p>\n<h1 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><\/h1>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/worldtourexperienceoutdoor.files.wordpress.com\/2012\/07\/dsc01770.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-755 fancy\" title=\"Intense Tracer VP_First configuration\" src=\"http:\/\/worldtourexperienceoutdoor.files.wordpress.com\/2012\/07\/dsc01770.jpg?w=300\" alt=\"Intense_Tracer-VP_First-configuration\" width=\"300\" height=\"168\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<h2>One year without Mountain Bike and I went to Bayonne.<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">From high school until second years of university,<strong> I rode less than less my bike<\/strong>. Yohan stopped mountain biking, Antony changed his bike each half year bewteen Downhill, Dirtjump and BMX and Pierre liked more than more road bicycle. <strong>That&#8217;s wind of change<\/strong>. <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">I had stopped championship and I joined JB&#8217;s mountain bike club<\/span>. They liked only cross-country. <strong>That was boring but less boring than ride alone.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>When I was 17 I moved to Clermont ferrand to follow sport management studies<\/strong>. I didn&#8217;t find other people who liked mountain Biking as I like it. So<strong> I got Federated Mountain Bike coach<\/strong> <strong>certificate<\/strong> <a title=\"Virus-VTT-website_Orcines\" href=\"http:\/\/virusvtt.free.fr\/accueil.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">for Virus VTT<\/a> to teach my expertise to children for one year. <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">But during my second study year, I totally stopped Mountain Biking<\/span>. I met many riders through my MTB club, as <strong>Alexis Delgado<\/strong> and <strong>Fabien Cousinier<\/strong> that I met during shooting of <a title=\"Pista-Prest-Dago_video\" href=\"http:\/\/vimeo.com\/16286404\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Pista Prest Dago.<\/a>\u00a0 Thanks to &#8220;Couscous &#8220;(Fabien&#8217;s nickname), I bought his Bos Deville Fork with new settings at low price.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: right;\">.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">With its configuration, this <strong>incredible bike<\/strong> is a little heavy (15 kg because of weight of wheels with DH minion 2.35 tyres) but I never had a <strong>bike so funny<\/strong>. Since June 2012, I take championship again but this time in Enduro bike with <a title=\"Website_Enduro-bike-Pyrenees-Trophy\" href=\"http:\/\/endurobearn.wix.com\/enduroplaisir#!trophee\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Enduro Bike Pyrenees Trophy<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Lately I participed to <a title=\"maxiavalanche_vallnord_2012\" href=\"http:\/\/www.zapiks.fr\/maxiavalanche-vallnord-2012--1.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Maxiavalanche from Vallnord<\/strong><\/a> and I was qualified to run the<strong> Europe Cup<\/strong>, less than 4 minutes to Dan Aterthon!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">However, the first frame edition (2009) was a little frail.<strong> <a title=\"crack-frame-end\" href=\"http:\/\/worldtourexperienceoutdoor.files.wordpress.com\/2012\/07\/cadre-fissurc3a8-2c3a8me-fois.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">I broke the frame end 3 times<\/a><\/strong>. The warranty of frame (2 years) expired since few months but <a title=\"Barracuda Company Website\" href=\"http:\/\/www.mtbikers.com\/StoreFront\/en\/welcome.do\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>the Barracuda Company<\/strong><\/a> (the webshop where I bought this frame) <strong>opened a procedure to help me<\/strong>. 6 months later, I was a <strong><a title=\"frame-end\" href=\"http:\/\/worldtourexperienceoutdoor.files.wordpress.com\/2012\/07\/img_9541.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">new frame end<\/a><\/strong>. I thank them for that. Its yoke (the part which I cracked) is <strong>really reinforced<\/strong>. That&#8217;s a good thing!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/worldtourexperienceoutdoor.files.wordpress.com\/2012\/07\/stinger-roller.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-thumbnail wp-image-818 fancy\" title=\"stinger roller\" src=\"http:\/\/worldtourexperienceoutdoor.files.wordpress.com\/2012\/07\/stinger-roller.jpg?w=150\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"112\" \/><\/a>Also, VPP 2 (Virtual Pivot Point upgrade)<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"> doesn&#8217;t allow to put a stinger chain tensioner because of low small connecting rod<\/span>. I take jumps more than 10 meters or 3 to 4\u00a0 high meters with my Intense. <strong>So I need to slow down the travel end<\/strong>. Moreover <strong>bleed it is hard<\/strong> compared with Hayes Brake.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">But its<strong> felling is regular, with good power and progressiveness<\/strong>. I would like changed it for a <strong>Hope M4<\/strong> brake system. Lastly I changed my front disk brake with a 203mm rotor instead of 185mm. Compared with my <a title=\"picture_Foxx_Talas-36-RC2\" href=\"http:\/\/worldtourexperienceoutdoor.files.wordpress.com\/2012\/07\/fork_fox_36-talas-rc2_2005.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Fox 36 Talas RC2<\/a> (2005) it was like night and day.<strong> I recomand it for enduro bike. <\/strong>It has <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">high and low speed compression, rebond and prestressing settings<\/span>. It is very <strong>sensitive<\/strong> and it has a<strong> linear travel<\/strong>. If you use all travel, increase high speed compression. With your thumb you can up and down quickly your seat. I have a <strong>KS I950<\/strong>. But I amended in <strong>swivel\u00a0 it to 180\u00b0 to have the remote cable forwardpass<\/strong>. That <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">protects the mechanism to mud<\/span>. Moreover I use a neoprene sock. On this bike I use a <strong>SLX\/XT<\/strong> (shadow) transmission and it runs well no matter mud or hard conditions. So I changed them for <strong>2.35 Supertacky Maxxis Minion 2 ply tires<\/strong>.
