My farmer obtained an excellent deal with a supermarket to feed his animals for free. A few people tried to acquire this deal before, but they didn\u2019t have enough animals to qualify for it.<\/p>\nToday I would like to dedicate this article about an important subject: Global food wasting.<\/p>\n
My farmer obtained an excellent deal with a supermarket to feed his animals for free. A few people tried to acquire this deal before, but they didn\u2019t have enough animals to qualify for it.<\/p>\n
In a supermarket, it\u2019s impossible to sell everything<\/span>. The customers only buy products in prime condition. Nobody wants to buy yellow lettuce or squished tomatoes. All products in poor condition will not be sold.\u00a0 In fact, some products will not even be sold up to one day before their expiration date; instead, they will be removed from the store to be thrown in the trash<\/strong>.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n .<\/p>\n As a result, there is a lot of food being wasted for these reasons. Now here is the worst part: more than 50% of these products are still suitable to eat<\/span> for three days to a week after they will be removed from the store.\u00a0 It is too expensive for the supermarket to separate the still-edible products from the spoiled products.<\/p>\n Now we are with all the food destined for the dump station\u2026 and we must spare each product in two piles: good for us\/ good for animals. Since some products are still in prime condition,<\/span> why should we give them to the animals? If we were paid to divide, it would represent between $60 to $120 everyday to fund this process.<\/p>\n .<\/span><\/p>\n I\u2019m totally disappointed about all this waste. It\u2019s really too much. The farmer and I would prefer to send these products to Africa or in a place where the population needs it. Meanwhile we don\u2019t have the technology to send these products fast enough daily everywhere in the world. Even if we had this technology, these countries wouldn\u2019t have the shipment network required for receiving them.<\/p>\n![\"vegetables-reception_worldtour-outdoorexperience\"](\"http:\/\/worldtour-outdoorexperience.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/vegetables-reception_worldtour-outdoorexperience.jpg\")
Hopefully, there is a solution to use these products: feed the animals with them<\/strong>. To get this deal here there is only one rule:\u00a0Take every product unsellable or we thrown them away<\/strong><\/span>, so only one farm can get the deal. It\u2019s unfair because many farms would like to get this great opportunity.
